The New Newman Ranch!
The Young and the Restless character was trying to keep the construction of the news house from Nikki. And the Newman ranch is so huge, he probably didn’t have to hide much. But the wait is finally over! The grand reveal is set for November 8 and it’s going to be a teary moment for everyone. Seeing their house burned to ashes was heart-crushing for the Newman couple.
In the BTS clip, Melody and emotional Braden tour the revamped set for the first time. And let us tell you that every nostalgic detail is perfectly in place. Be on the lookout for the classic center couch, Nikki’s corner desk, and the cherished wooden staircase. We owe it to Josh Griffith, the show’s Executive Producer and Head Writer.
Griffith shared that the Newman family and Y&R fans alike felt the loss of the original Newman ranch. Additionally, the showrunner revealed that the show has been toying with the idea of bringing back the set for years. But what better occasion than the 13,000th episode to celebrate the legacy of Nikki and Victor Newman, right?
Josh also thanked Y&R’s art department and stage crew, who went “above and beyond” in executing the dream project. Back to the set tour, Braeden and Thomas were pretty moved by the sight of their old “home” restored. During a chat with Deadline, Eric admitted he never thought about getting this attached to a set.
