The Young and the Restless Next 2 Weeks: Jealous Billy’s Blowup, Claire’s Stunning News and Sharon’s Cameron Crisis Worsens

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 12 to August 23, reveal that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will target Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from multiple angles.

During the week of August 12-16, Victor will put Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) on the hunt for Billy dirt.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will also face orders to launch a negative campaign against Billy at Newman Media.

However, Billy should make a move that Victor doesn’t expect when he takes a step back at Abbott-Chancellor instead of embracing more power.

Once the big Abbott-Chancellor announcement happens, Victor will have to shift his strategy – especially since Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) may start to waver on their takeover plans.

As for Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), he’ll have a problem with the Abbott name being included and will apparently voice his displeasure to Billy.

Of course, Billy won’t care if Jack doesn’t like it since Abbott is his last name as well.

Billy will continue his efforts to honor Jill Abbott’s (Jess Walton) legacy, so he’ll ignore Jack’s concerns and stay focused on that goal.

Unfortunately, the trust between Jack and Billy will take a hit, so this tension could build to bigger issues.

Over with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), she’ll try to force Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to stop working with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).

Summer will want Kyle to cut all traces of Audra from his life out of concern for Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell).

It’ll be an ultimatum related to their attempt at a new custody agreement, but Kyle will choose court over giving into Summer’s unreasonable demands.

Kyle’s Glissade partnership with Audra will remain intact for now, but they’ll face some new challenges – especially after Victor puts them both to the test with his new orders.

As for Claire Grace (Hayley Erin), she’ll have some unexpected updates for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

Could Claire consider quitting as Harrison’s nanny due to all the custody chaos?

Things could get messy since Summer is family, so Claire may think it’d be better to get out before the situation gets any worse.

Harrison will be going back to school soon anyway, so Claire may feel like it’s the perfect time to make a change.

This might even lead to Claire taking a job at Newman Enterprises at some point.

Next, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) will fill Jack and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) in on all their Paris and Los Angeles adventures.

It’ll be easy to see just how close Alan and Traci have gotten, so Diane and Jack will express how thrilled they are.

Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will enjoy some family time with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), so Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) won’t be pleased when he sees Adam and Chelsea’s connection on display.

At some point, Adam and Chelsea will lean on each other over more Connor concerns, so Billy will grow jealous and increasingly suspicious.

This is all building to a confrontation between Billy and Chelsea, so he may finally blow up at her and demand the truth about what’s going on with Adam.

Billy might go as far as asking if they slept together if he uses his brain and realizes that’s the obvious explanation.

Will Chelsea be able to deny it once Billy’s getting in her face and emotions are running high?

Whatever the case, Y&R spoilers say Adam will put on a show for Sally elsewhere and try to convince her that nothing’s wrong.

At Crimson Lights, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will cross paths with Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei), so that could lead to a conversation about Summer’s custody case as well as Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) troubling behavior lately.

Elsewhere, Sharon will feel like there’s no escaping her Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) hallucinations, so he may push her to stop fighting them and just embrace her sinister side.

The week of August 19-23 should bring more Sharon and “Cameron” mayhem since he’ll be pushing her down a terrible path – one that could involve harming enemies like Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and any threats to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster).

Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant) may apologize once more for drinking at the concert and try to make amends with Faith, but Faith might insist it’s best if they don’t hang out anymore.

That’s the kind of thing that could break Lucy’s heart and send her spinning out, so she may turn to alcohol all over again.

Finally, Victor will have to decide whether he’s willing to let Kyle and Summer’s custody case go to court.

Something tells us Victor may have a few more tricks up his sleeve, so he may make some bold moves as a last resort.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say the next two weeks will bring plenty of highs and lows, so stick with us for more predictions on all the shocking news and fierce faceoffs.
