Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy’s Dark Mental Health Spiral – DID Returns After Chancellor Takeover & Chadam Affair?
Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that things don’t look good for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). While he senses something is off with his relationship, he’s trying to plug through it all and has taken a deep dive into his work at Abbott-Chancellor.
His co-workers have noticed a slight change in attitude, especially Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd).
He’s getting a little snippety, and Lily has been concerned this more has to do with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and issues in his romance, than with business.
The unfortunate thing is that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is in the shadows right now, planning a takeover of Chancellor Industries.
Fans know all to well that whatever Victor wants Victor gets, so it’s only a matter of time before this scheme comes into fruition.
Could the proverbial poop hit the fan about the Chadam one-nighter, at the same time Victor rips the rug from under Billy at Abbott-Chancellor?
This would be the perfect storm brewing for a massive mental health breakdown for him.
Fans may remember the downward mental health spiral Billy experienced in 2019.
He talked about it a bit when his sister Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was going through her own dissociative identity disorder (DID) struggles.
Still, unlike Ashley, who had distinctive personalities, Billy had “himself” and a “darker/edgier” Billy that would come out.
Still, could losing both his relationship and his company put Billy in that place again?
Especially since his DID surfaced because of Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) death, which Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) played a role in.
While it was an “accident”, Adam was the reason behind his daughter’s passing as he hit her with a dark, while driving in the dark.
Adam (once exposed) will also be the one who Chelsea cheated on him with.
It doesn’t help that Adam is Victor’s son, so not only could Billy’s DID present itself once again, but it may also focus on Adam, like it did before.
Y&R predictions hint that things are about to get very messy in Billy’s life, so will he rise above it all, or spiral?
