Lord knows Phyllis has to endure more than her share of judgement on The Young and the Restless. Of course, with all the stunts she’s pulled over the years, we can’t really blame the folks of Genoa City for taking her to task from time to time. Heck, she’s even ticked off her kids so much, we can’t help but marvel over the fact that they still talk to her! But ideally, the drama that soap opera characters face is not mimicked in real life by their portrayers!
Now, though… Well, Michelle Stafford might have some idea about what Phyllis feels — at least when it comes to judgmental children! Phyllis’ portrayer shared a feel-good video on Instagram from the beach. It was, she wrote, “just a moment of me feelin myself and then… wait for it…”
We’ll let you watch for yourself below as Stafford struts down the boardwalk, only to be pulled up short. And make sure you listen closely for the end!

As Stafford bestie, General Hospital‘s Finola Hughes (Anna) wrote, it was “The eyeroll from Natalia” that was just pitch perfect. What kid isn’t embarrassed by their mom? But when Breona Blackson laughed in the comments that Natalia was, “A true daughter. Too funny,” Stafford pointed out that son, “Jameson was the one who said I was corny. They were double teaming.”
Yeah, that sounds about right for a pair of siblings. Why tease mom one at a time when you can team up together to get her! Well, we think Stafford looked incredible from the dress to the bikini, so if we were her, we’d be feeling ourselves too!
But, er, maybe we’d be sure to do that away from our kids so no one bursts our bubble.
