General Hospital Comings and Goings tease an epic comeback in Port Charles! Scott Reeves is returning to reprise Steven Lars Webber’s role after eleven long years. It feels like a homecoming for the actor! Looking back, Steven was about to marry Olivia Falconeri but was instead put behind bars for a comatose patient’s death. Recently, his sister Elizabeth casually mentioned that Steven’s finally been released from prison, and now, here he comes!
Scott Reeves Is Back!
General Hospital Comings and Goings revealed that Scott is finally back for a brief stint. He chatted with TV Insider and joked, “I was wondering how long it would take before Steven got paroled!” Despite a decade away, Reeves swiftly got back to the GH set and felt “like coming home.” Moreover, he recalled how strange it felt to pull into the studio as if no time had passed.
So, who was the first person Scott bumped into? It was Rick Hearst (Ric Lansing), shouting his name from across the parking lot. “It was like an old home week!” Reeves chuckled, clearly happy to reunite with his old co-star. As Reeves walked the halls of the studio, memories flashed before him, especially the bittersweet ones.
In addition, among the changes Reeves observed, he missed the most were the faces of some beloved cast members. These include Nneka Garland (Producer), Sonya Eddy (Epiphany Johnson), and Tyler (Christopher, Nikolas Cassadine). Anyway, how did he feel after getting back into character? “It was like riding a bike,” Reeves revealed.
Scott mentioned that Steven had been out of prison for a few months, trying to rebuild his life in Sedona, Arizona. Although his medical license may be gone, his determination to start over remains strong! Furthermore, the GH actor had the chance to act alongside Alley Mills, who now plays Steven’s mother, Heather Webber.
Next, he met his on-screen sister, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), “It was so great to see Becky again.” Reeves also caught up with longtime buddy Steve Burton (Jason Morgan), reminiscing and scheming future projects, including a possible band reunion! Sadly, Steven won’t be sticking around Port Charles for long, thanks to his complicated relationship with his mum, Heather.
His visit will be short and sweet, as Scott has already wrapped up filming. But don’t worry! Reeves is all in for a comeback. The actor teased, “There’s so much potential with Steven. Anytime they want me back, I’m there.” Fingers crossed for more Webber drama down the road!
