Holy Smoke! General Hospital Star Cynthia Watros’ Twin 23-Year-Olds Are as Lovely as Mom!
On September 26, General Hospital leading lady Cynthia Watros uploaded to Instagram a photo that didn’t even need a caption, a gorgeous candid of her twin daughters, Emma and Sadie Gilliland. What could the fan-favorite soap-hopper have said about the image, anyway? A picture speaks a thousand words, and in this case, all of those words amount to, “Wow, the 23-year-olds are as beautiful as Mom!”
The young women were born to the Daytime Emmy winner and former husband Curt Gilliland back in 2001, when she was starring on the primetime sitcom Titus after achieving daytime fame as loco Annie Dutton on Guiding Light. (Surely, you remember how she tortured Reva Shayne!)
Watros went on to star on The Drew Carey Show, Lost, House and The Young and the Restless (in the part that Cady McClain eventually assumed) before taking over the role of General Hospital pot-stirrer Nina from Michelle Stafford (who was herself returning to The Young and the Restless as yet another troublemaker, Phyllis).
Watros doesn’t post a whole lot about her girls — who could blame her, what with a desire for some semblance of privacy and all? — but back in 2019, she did share a sweet snap that could have been captioned, “Life’s a beach.” Instead, she titled the aww-inspiring #FlashbackFriday entry, “Nothing like family.”
