It’s not often that advice from a dead person solves your problems, but we’ve got to hand it to General Hospital‘s late Morgan. Whether he was a ghost or just a figment of Sonny’s mind, that rooftop encounter was enough to snap Sonny out of his downward spiral and avert catastrophe. At least until his next crisis. Like killing Cates in cold blood…

Still, Morgan did everything he could to reassure his dad after Kristina’s fall, insisting Sonny is a good father, who isn’t to blame for the tragedies that have struck his kids over the years. Except… while we are happy that Morgan managed to talk Sonny off the ledge, we have to admit that there was a part of us watching the encounter thinking, “All of those tragedies kind of are your fault, Sonny.”

And we’re pretty sure we aren’t the only ones. In fact, after Bryan Craig’s Instagram post, we know we aren’t!

The actor shared the clip of Morgan telling Sonny that his kids love their dad and his death wasn’t the don’s fault. And all that’s well and good (in fact, the performances are downright great), but Craig had a few words to say on Morgan’s behalf.

“But dad,” he wrote after recalling his visit back to General Hospital. “Gotta be honest… It was kinda your fault…”

Ouch! But he’s not wrong. That’s not to say it was completely Sonny’s fault! Ava switched Morgan’s meds and psycho sister Olivia planted the bomb, but Sonny’s the reason his kids are constantly mixed up in mob drama, wars and vendettas.

Kristina, Michael, Morgan — they’ve all run into enemies and suffered pain and loss because of their dad’s violent “career.” Kristina just lost her baby. (Well, Molly’s baby. Both of theirs?) Michael was in a coma so long he grew up from a kid to a young man. And Morgan? Yeah, what Craig said.
