General Hospital Shake-Up: Farewell Jagger, Iconic Character’s Surprise Return, and a New Contract Twist!
General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of September 2-6 will be explosive for so many reasons. In addition to the aftermath from all the action that took place on the Friday, August 30 episode, there will be plenty of cast changes, so it’s time to dive into all everything we know so far.
First off, let’s get to the biggest news of the week, as Emma Samms will reprise her legendary Holly Sutton role on Wednesday, September 4.
There’s not much information on how Holly will sneak back to town, or if she’ll be in Port Charles at all, so fans will have to tune in to see what brings her back on canvas.
Over to a fun update, Kristen Vaganos who plays Molly Lansing-Davis (and nailing it) has been upped to contract status on GH.
The actress stepped into the role in September 2023 and had been working within “recurring” capacity; however, after Friday’s show, the closing credits revealed she’s officially on contract.
Lastly, after Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) shot John “Jagger” Cates (Adam J. Harrington) not once, but twice, on Friday’s show, most fans came to the conclusion that the character’s exit was imminent.
Still, this is the land of daytime drama where dead people come to life, and anything is possible. Without an official word from an actor or a show, it’s hard to say!
Adam J. Harrington hopped on X (formerly known as Twitter) posted an interesting tweet. It was a picture of a sunset with the caption, “Good night all …”
Was this Harrington’s way of telling fans that Friday’s show was his last, or is he swerving GH viewers? Only time will tell!
General Hospital spoilers hint that Tuesday, September 3 show will be a big one, and an episode that might clarify some things when it comes to characters, deaths, and what happens next!
