General Hospital Preview: Full of Rage, Sonny Is Hell-Bent On Making Ava Pay… With Her Life?

We have a feeling that General Hospital has always had Ava sleep with one eye open. But right now, eh, it might want to have her sleep with them both open. In the preview ABC just dropped for the week of August 5, word spreads about how, exactly, a very pregnant Kristina wound up doing an Olympic-caliber swan dive from Ava’s Metro Court hotel room into the pool below.

Needless to say, Sonny’s reaction to Ava’s apparent guilt is… not good. “I want her to pay!” he hollers. And, considering that he’s off his bipolar medication, the way that he makes her pay could well be fatal. (And he’s not the only one who might have Ava’s murder in mind.)

Elsewhere in the clip, a worried Molly asks TJ whether the baby that her half sister is carrying for them is going to be all right. “Er, not necessarily” is the way that we read the expression he gives her in response.

While all of Port Charles questions whether Ava would really shove a pregnant woman out a window, Kristina’s portrayer Kate Mansi has weighed in on the subject. (Read her take here.) She also recently shared a hilarious message that she received after the climactic episode aired. “My cousin,” she said in an Instagram story, “wins best response to the window saga.”

And what, exactly, was her cousin’s comment? “Hi love. I watched you fall out of a window today, and all I could think of was how much I liked the boots you had on. Lol.”
