Recently, some very lucky fans had the chance to spend time with a few stars, past and present, from Days of Our Lives, and one, Susan Seaforth Hayes (Julie), posted videos and numerous photos to give her followers a peek into the “adventure” that took place during the Legends in the Canyon event.

“When you visit Grand Canyon, be sure to travel with people you love,” Seaforth Hayes expressed then went on to talk about the time spent with “five” of her favorite actors, Judi Evans (Bonnie), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), Mathew Ashford (Jack), Leann Hunley (ex-Anna) and Thaao Penghlis (ex-Tony), and how the train ride was perfect.

“Twice upon a time, I was there with my darling Bill Hayes — a precious memory,” she shared, “But time goes by… and this adventure put new sparkle on my spirit.”

And of the time spent with fans, the daytime vet added, “Thank you dear fans and friends for showing us Salem veterans we are still so loved!”

The first photo featured not only the beautiful actress but the breathtaking scenery of the Grand Canyon around her. There were group shots and rainbows and even an inside look into the stars signing various pics and such for fans. Plus, a view from inside the train had them waving at those standing outside watching them go by.

From the looks of things, not only did they have a blast, they made memories to last a lifetime.

And while the trip brought back special memories of the moments spent with her late beloved husband, we’ll never forget the mark he left on daytime and invite you to open up our gallery below as we pay tribute to Bill Hayes.
