OMG, Talk About ‘Gabby’! Camila Banus Shares a Post-Days of Our Lives Career Update

Camila Banus may have said goodbye to daytime for now, after leaving her role as Gabi on Days of Our Lives. However, that doesn’t mean the former soap actress isn’t busy lining up new gigs. Banus recently shared a video titled Self Tape Chronicles #1: The Joys of Auditioning! to show fans just how stressful getting an audition call can be.
The video began with the actress lying in bed when a notification came in that she’d received an audition call. At first, she appeared super excited and worked quickly to open up her tablet. “Let’s see what we got,” she stated. However, when it was revealed to be 19 pages, Banus mouthed, “What?” then scrolled through the script of monologues just for her. Not able to contain her emotions, she began shaking the tablet in frustration.
Fans jumped into the comments to share a laugh in response to her comical video and many voiced just how much they miss seeing her in Salem. “Boy, do we miss you on Days of Our Lives!” Ang Halliwell shared. “Live it up and reach for those [stars],” as Brett added some fun to Banus’ post by replying, “Ummmm, well, your hair looks amazing.”
We have to agree, she does look amazing and we’ll be keeping an eye out for any future projects Banus may be involved in.
