Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, August 15, reveals that Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) had a nightmare about something bad happening to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), so she insisted on seeing him and had Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) take her to the townhouse.

Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) said Brady was still asleep and suggested making some pancakes before he awoke.

While Marlena and Rachel were in the kitchen, Brady woke up confused in the driver’s seat of his car and feared he’d drove drunk.

Once Brady dragged himself inside the townhouse on Thursday’s Days episode, he was surprised to see Kristen.

Although Kristen assumed this was a walk of shame, Brady lied about sleeping at the office last night.

Brady also reunited with Rachel and assured her that nothing bad happened like in her dream, which involved him getting smushed by a steamroller.

Kristen agreed that Brady and Rachel could spend more time together later, but she had a mother-daughter date with Rachel planned first.

Once Brady was alone with Marlena, he lied about parking in her space last night because someone already parked in his own.

Marlena suggested she was just glad to see Brady made it home so early.

Brady eventually got Fiona Cook (Serena Scott Thomas) on the phone to ask what happened last night, so she claimed he insisted he was fine to drive home and said she took a cab back to the Salem Inn.

Fiona added that she couldn’t talk since Sarah Horton-Cook (Linsey Godfrey) had been in an accident, so Brady was alarmed as she disconnected.

Brady seemingly looked up info about injured Sarah online and grew concerned as he recalled hearing screeching tires and screaming.

Once Marlena talked about seeing the news about Sarah, Brady played dumb and agreed about it being so awful.

Back with Fiona on Thursday’s DOOL episode, she recalled moving Brady to the driver’s seat of his car.

Although Fiona hoped no one would find out about this, she suggested it was better Brady to take the fall if someone had to.

At the crime scene, Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) worked with officers to reconstruct the accident and establish a timeline.

There was a pole with gray paint on it nearby, so Jada felt confident that a gray car with discernible damage was involved.

After Jada gave Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) updates on the case, Paulina ran into Kristen and Rachel in the town square.

Rachel had headphones on as Kristen and Paulina discussed the hit-and-run accident involving a gray vehicle.

Once Paulina was gone, Rachel admitted to overhearing and guessed it’d be hard to solve the case.

Rachel pointed out that lots of people had gray cars – like her daddy.

Kristen’s wheels were turning on Thursday’s Days episode, so it looked like she suspected Brady might be guilty.

At the hospital, Sarah survived a lengthy surgery following some internal injuries to her spleen and liver.

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) talked about all the blood units Sarah had to be given, but it was a miracle that she had no broken bones.

After Kayla warned about soft tissue damage and inflammation, she suggested Sarah would likely make a full recovery if there were no complications.

Sarah was still pretty out of it as she tried to come out of the anesthesia, but she shared some sweet conversations with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) anyway.

Once Jada arrived at the hospital on Thursday’s Days episode, she took Xander’s statement about the car he heard leaving the scene of the crime.

Sarah also gave a statement to Jada, but she didn’t see the driver and couldn’t remember much beyond that the car was gray.

City surveillance didn’t have any footage of the accident, but Jada was hoping for better luck with local businesses.

Jada also realized it had been about 20 minutes before Xander made his way to find Sarah last night, so Xander thought it was odd that the driver stuck around.

Jada guessed that maybe they wanted to make sure Sarah got help and suggested people have lots of different motives in situations like that.

Later, Sarah realized she felt numb from the waist down.

Although Sarah’s spiral series had come back clear, she couldn’t feel Xander touching her legs or the reflex test that Kayla did at all.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah had a long road to recovery ahead of her, so stick with us for more predictions on her paralysis and what’s ahead.
