Days of Our Lives legend Peter Reckell, a.k.a. Bo Brady, recently warned his fans about cyber fraud! It turns out that somebody made fake social media accounts to impersonate Peter. Despite not currently appearing on the show, Reckell stays connected with his fans.

So, the actor obviously had to raise the red flags because it can be incredibly dangerous for his admirers. It might lead to financial loss, privacy invasion, and emotional distress. In no time, his wife came forward to make people aware of the imposters. Check it out below!

Peter’s Wife Highlights Social Media Scams

Kelly Moneymaker, the wife of Days of Our Lives actor and filmmaker/singer, tweeted about the issue. “There’s a new Peter Reckell FB imposter (see below)! Ugh!” Additionally, she claimed that the Peter-Reckell Backup Account is stealing images from one of her films and private photos. The imposters even used images from DOOL. Kelly also thanked somebody for letting her know about this fraud.

Kelly continued, “Please warn others. This impersonator claims he’ll be doing a European Personal Appearance Tour!” She pointed out how the imposter wanted to charge money over FB Messenger. Moneymaker clarified, “The real @peterreckell is NOT doing a PA [personal appearance] tour. “She added, “If he ever does, he will announce it on his website.”

Furthermore, Reckell’s wife mentioned her frustration with Facebook. “I tried to post this before, but FB blocked me because they said it’s against their community standards!” She wonders why imposters stealing Peter’s identity isn’t against their standards. The filmmaker joked, “Sometimes I think the imposters work at FB. Love & Light – Kelly.”

DOOL/ Peter thinks Bo and Hope really deserves to have some kind of resolution.

Earlier, Peter shared insights on returning to the ex-NBC soap. In 2023, he told Soap Hub, “I don’t know what Kristian’s [Alfonso, Hope] feelings are. According to him, the coupling of Bo and Hope really deserves to have some kind of resolution. After all, the show’s 60th anniversary is coming up in 2025! He added, “I do believe the show is going to have us back.”

However, he admitted to not having any specific details to share. “I had a conversation with Ken [Corday, executive producer] …I feel that there is something coming up for us.” But the soap actor isn’t sure about the timing.
