Bold & Beautiful Return Promises to Heat Up Liam’s Love Life — and Leave Steffy Fuming

It looks like Los Angeles is about to get a bit more Australian once again as Ashleigh Brewer is set to bring Ivy back to The Bold and the Beautiful. And this time, hopefully, she’ll stick around!
Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Brewer is set to return to Los Angeles with her niece, newcomer Electra Forrester. After being gone for years, Eric’s niece (brother John Forrester’s daughter) Ivy visited back in May of this year in an exciting but all-too-brief visit to Bold & Beautiful.
That last time around Ivy wasn’t exactly subtle about wanting Liam back, flat out telling him that if she lived in Los Angeles, she’d be pursuing him. And when the two locked lips, Steffy — who had no problem reminding her cousin that Liam shared a child with her — was not subtle in her jealousy at catching them in the act.
At the time, it had seemed like Liam and Hope still had a chance of reconciling and we figured they were on the way to a triangle with Ivy. But then, Eric’s niece left, Liam and Hope collapsed for good and Bill’s son has been a bit rudderless ever since.
Now that Ivy’s returning, however, it’s just about a guarantee that she’ll make a beeline for Liam… and that’s sure to infuriate Steffy! She and Liam have always shared a deeper bond than just co-parents, but up until now, perennial good guy Finn has always won out through Hope’s kiss, Liam’s pull and Luna’s kidnapping.
This could be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, though, as Steffy’s gotten a little too comfortable with a single Liam and seeing Ivy move in on her backup man could be a bridge too far. She may not be using Liam right now, but she could want to at any point, and Ivy swooping in and taking him would just would not do.
So welcome back, Ivy and Ashleigh Brewer, and hopefully you both stick around long enough to stir up some trouble with Liam… and Steffy!
