Was Bold & Beautiful’s Luna Wrong? Is *Finn* Really Her Father? Tanner Novlan Says…
Bold & Beautiful set off Luna on a murder spree because she was so horrified by the prospect for formerly homeless guy Tom being her biodad. But ever since Finn and Poppy played this scene, we’ve been sure that he was actually the disturbed young woman’s father. Heck, Poppy all but came out and said as much.
Could it still be true? “You never know! What’s so fun about playing Finn is that he’s [a newer character],” portrayer Tanner Novlan tells Soap Opera Digest. That being the case, “he’s not beholden to any past storylines or stuff like that.”
The actor loves learning more about his on-screen alter ego. He as well as we may think that we know the good doctor inside and out. But the truth is, the show may have only scratched the surface. “I think that’s really fun to be able to explore his past life,” he says, “and anytime they do that, we always find a treasure [trove] of riches.”
No matter what skeletons might turn out to be lurking next to the lab coats in Finn’s closet, Novlan is just happy that the scribes keep poking around looking for them. “I’m really grateful and excited for what writers come up [with] constantly… for food in the future.”
