Outside of Pentonville, Heather is stunned to see Steven Lars with Elizabeth. Steven says hello to his sister Lizzie, and his mother hugs him. Heather thinks Steven has come for her. Liz hugs her brother, and Heather comments how it is such a coincidence that they both got out of prison at the same time. Steven admits he has been out for a few months, and they have a lot to talk about, but not here. Heather knows exactly where they should go and drags him off.
At the hospital, Terry tells Laura that Sam’s surgery is underway, and Lulu is being prepped to go into the OR. She’ll let her know when she has more news.
Anna stops by and checks in with Laura, who is on her own for the moment as Rocco and Dante step away to eat. Anna offers to stay with her. Laura feels she might not be the best company. Laura thanks her for going to Africa to find Lucky and tells her how Lucky was heartbroken he couldn’t save Lulu. Anna says Lucky kept a cool head in a crisis and risked his life to save Isaiah. Laura notes that because of that, Isaiah is here to save Lulu.
Cyrus arrives and asks to sit with his sister, but Laura explains she and Anna are in the middle of something. Anna excuses herself so that they can talk. Cyrus offers to say a prayer for Lulu. Laura allows him to, and after, he says he’ll leave her to her vigil. Laura asks Cyrus not to show up and surprise them unannounced again, to call her first.
Cyrus gets on the elevator, and Anna returns with coffee. She’s glad Laura doesn’t trust Cyrus. Laura doesn’t know what to make of him but has no illusions about him either. Laura asks Anna if she’s heard from Valentin. Anna hasn’t. Laura feels Charlotte should be here. Anna notes she’s reached out to many contacts, but has heard nothing. She’s not giving up, and neither is Laura. Laura spoke to Brennan, and he said very little. Anna thinks she can work another angle with Brennan. Laura says it’s unhealthy for Charlotte to spend her life on the run, and she’s unhappy with Valentin for taking her.
Anna says Valentin couldn’t have known this would happen with Lulu, and Valentin does know how much Charlotte means to Laura and Lulu. She thinks his decision to leave came quickly. However, she promises to find Valentin and bring Charlotte back.
Diane and Alexis are working in the conference room, thanks to Terry arranging for them to use it. Alexis is trying to keep her mind off the surgery, and they discuss their upcoming cases. Their talk soon turns to Molly and Kristina still being at each other’s throats, Ric defending Ava, and Ric getting Heather’s sentence vacated. Diane didn’t know about Heather and fumes over the fact that the woman who almost killed her is going free.
Alexis checks in on Kristina over the phone and then tells Diane how Ric baited her into losing control in a public place. She knows Ric will crucify Kristina on the stand. Diane is confident Alexis will have Kristina well-rehearsed. Alexis shifts to Diane’s misery and Holly being back in town. Diane says she knows about Holly and is secure in her relationship with Robert. Holly is his past, and Roberts made a life for himself here. Soon, Holly will be off on her next con.
Liz returns to work, and Terry asks how everything went. Liz admits her brother Steven showed up out of the blue, and he and Heather went to Bobbie’s for BLTs. They wonder why Steven has shown up. Liz feels like he’s here to fix things, and at least she doesn’t have to deal with Heather alone for the time being.
At Bobbie’s, Heather orders sandwiches for her and her son and tells Steven how glad she is that he’s home. Steven says Port Charles isn’t his home any longer. Heather knows adjusting can be hard, but he’ll remember why he loves Port Charles soon enough. She says she’ll be rolling in dough soon, and she can get them a great house and swing set for Ace. Steven explains he can’t stay as he has a job in Arizona. He states that he’s not staying, and neither is she.
Steven wants Heather to make a new life for herself in Arizona with him. Heather thinks they should stay here and that General Hospital will take him back. He explains he’s not a doctor anymore. Heather assumes he’s still hung up on Olivia, which is why he doesn’t want to stay. Steven says Olivia is not up for discussion. Heather asks why he’s here and why he wants her to go to Arizona. He explains they need to make amends, and family sticks together. Heather says some of her family is still here, and she can’t leave Ace.
Steven explains that if they leave, she can leave her past behind and focus on who she is now. He says people here don’t trust him anymore, and that’s why he wants her to come with him. He says they could make a life without hurting anyone again or themselves. Heather agrees to go with him. However, there are things she has to do first.
Back at the hospital, Steven and Heather arrive and talk to Liz. Heather explained that Steven is taking her with him back to Arizona, and they are here to say goodbye. Heather reveals that Steven made her realize that staying here would be hard for her and the people she’s hurt. Liz says that is wise. Laura steps off the elevator, and Heather rushes over to her.
Anna meets with Alexis, who is now alone. She asks if Alexis has heard from Valentin. Alexis hasn’t. Anna explains Laura wants to bring Charlotte home. Alexis agrees she should come home, and she’ll look into whether the Cassadine holdings have been dipped into.
At Robert’s office, Sasha stops by. Robert has the results, which he hasn’t opened yet. He hands her the envelope, and she opens it. It says Robert is her father, and she immediately assumes Holly tampered with it. Robert says it was done at a secure WSB lab, and he’s convinced Holly isn’t lying for once.
They sit down, and Sasha is in shock that Robert is her father. Robert says, “Better late than never.” Sasha realizes this means she and Cody are first cousins. Sasha is in tears over losing Cody. She is sorry she’s not jumping for joy to know her father. Robert understands, but he feels very lucky and would like to get to know her. She tells him that he’s been very kind through this.
Later, Diane appears to see Robert. Robert reveals that he just got the news that he has another daughter, and they both know her. It’s Sasha Corbin. Diane is stunned. Robert explains Sasha thought her father was dead, and her mother is Holly. Diane rolls her eyes.
At Crimson, Nina is on the phone discussing business when Sasha arrives. Nina can see Sasha is upset and asks what it is. Sasha admits she’s been lying to her for a long time, and it’s big. Sasha says she told her that her mother was dead, but she only wishes she was and she’s alive and well. Nina is shocked but asks why she’s confessing this now. Sasha explains her mother is back in Port Charles, and her name is Holly Sutton.
They sit down, and Sasha tells her the whole story about her mother and grandmother, who raised her while her mother was off conning people. Sasha says her mother only knows how to use people, and she’s tried to ignore her as much as possible for most of her life. Sasha explains that Holly finally revealed to her who her father is and that it’s Robert Scorpio. That means Cody is her cousin, and she wonders if this is karma for pretending to be Nina’s daughter. Nina says she has made amends, and they’ve both changed. Nina says they should talk about the real reason she’s here. Nina believes Sasha is trying to put off telling Cody the truth. Sasha doesn’t know how she can tell him. Nina tells her putting it off will only make it more difficult.
Cody returns to the Quartermaine stables and finds Holly waiting for him. He asks who she is. She introduces herself as Holly Sutton, and she thought it was time they met. He asks why she’s looking for him. She tells him they have something in common: the Ice Princess. Holly informs him that she’s the one who stole it. He heard the thief was burned in a cabin fire and the necklace destroyed. She says that is partially correct, and she heard he tried to make a claim for the necklace. Cody says he was after a payday that didn’t work out. Holly says he’s better off, as those diamonds are not worth the trouble.
Holly says she has a way to help him, though, and she can make his dreams come true. She can’t believe he is happy working for Tracy. Cody says dreams change, he’s happy working here, he has a family, and he has the love of a great woman. Holly says that could change, as she knows of a poker player with a gambling problem, and it could be a million-dollar payday. Cody asks why she’s come to him. Holly calls him a kindred spirit, and this mark is a sure thing.
Cody tells her that he no longer plays cards. He appreciates the offer but has everything he needs here. He doesn’t want to be the man he was, and he’s found a life that makes him happy. She asked what brought this change about. He tells her that after the scam with the necklace went bust, he got news that changed his life. He learned that his dad was not Leopold but Mac. She says the Scorpios are like family to her. Cody can’t disappoint Mac by taking this con, and he doesn’t want to lie to anyone anymore. Cody says he has his job, his family, and a woman he doesn’t deserve, so he has to pass on her offer.
Holly hopes this woman is worth walking away from a million dollars. Cody says Sasha is worth it. Sasha arrives and fumes at seeing her mother. She orders her out. Holly leaves, and Cody can see she knows Holly. Sasha says that woman is her mother, and something is very wrong.
