Young & Restless Exclusive: Mark Grossman Reveals to Whom He’d Love for Adam to Give a ‘Middle Finger’ — and We Are *Here* for It
No one understands The Young and the Restless’ Adam Newman better than his portrayer, Mark Grossman. So he is well aware that, despite the way that his character clashes (and clashes and clashes) with his father, “obviously, underneath it all, he all wants to live up to the Victor Newman Jr. name.”
That isn’t necessarily what Grossman wants, however — and we have a feeling that viewers would be 100-percent into the plot that he’s hatched for his Genoa City alter ego. “I would love to do a storyline where Adam started his own business and was doing his own thing, and it was a big kind of middle finger to the family,” he tells Soaps.com. “I would really enjoy that. And I’ve always liked it when Adam works with Jack and how that sort of triggers Victor.
“I guess what I’m saying is I enjoy any time Adam can stick it to Victor,” he adds with a laugh. “And I enjoy working with Peter Bergman, who brings out the best of everyone he works with.”
It would be only fair for Jack to recruit Adam since Victor pounced on Jack’s son Kyle the first chance that he got. What do you think? Would you like to see Jack and Adam take down Victor and Kyle?
