Bold & Beautiful Shock: Young Star Steals the Spotlight from Tanner Novlan in New Role!
Douglas may not be on our screens as much as we’d like on The Bold and the Beautiful, but you may have spotted the talented young actor while watching some of your favorite shows outside of daytime. Henry Joseph Samiri landed a spot in one of the latest commercials for Progressive insurance and we have to say, he might just give Tanner Novlan (Finn) a run for his money since Liberty (Biberty) Mutual is one of their competitors.
In the commercial, over talk of the nation’s financial system, Samiri’s character asks, “What’s the economy?” Those around him can’t quite give him an answer and fumble with a few words before asking, “You follow?” He appears annoyed with the adults and states, “I’ll just look it up.” After he walks away to do so, one man replies, “That went well… Future economis
Of his latest project, the actor shared, “Had so much fun filming this Progressive spot!” He went on to thank those involved in helping him get the gig then told fans, “Let me know if you see it.”

Earlier this year, Samiri also turned up in a video for kids in CJ and Friends’ “Kindness” installment. The channel features “original songs, worship dance covers, animated stories and tutorials that will get the whole family moving and grooving.” Take a look to see how the actor dances his way into bringing a smile to kids all over the world.
We have to say, no matter what role Samiri steps into, he nails it and we could even see a little bit of Douglas, who’s often wiser than his years, shine through for Progressive.
