Y&R Spoilers: Chelsea & Adam Scramble To Explain To Connor That A New Sibling Is Coming

Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers hint that Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) isn’t overly upset that his parents have broken up with their significant others.

While Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) were worried their son would blame himself for their failed relationships with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), he’s more intrigued with the idea that his parents could reunite now that they are both single.

Chadam talked about this during the Friday, September 20 show. While Adam was open to the idea, Chelsea shut it down, angrily. What happens if and when Chelsea finds out she’s expecting?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Could Chelsea Newman End Up Pregnant?

Y&R spoilers remind fans that Chadam’s one-night stand in Baltimore occurred in early July, and now that it is mid-September, surely if Chelsea was pregnant, she would already know by now.

But this is the land of soaps where anything is possible, and timelines get thrown out the window. It’s completely believable that Chelsea may have missed a cycle and not noticed because of the stress and chaos in her life.

Not to mention the fact that some “days” in Genoa City last for weeks, right so it may not be “months” like in real-time, but still some weeks since Chadam hopped into bed.

Y&R Spoilers – A Pregnancy Would Heighten Connor Newman’s Hopes

If Chelsea ended up pregnant, this would only heighten Connor’s hopes of a reunion – if the baby turned out to be Adam’s. After all there’s still a chance it could be Billy’s.

Connor is on the cusp of being a teenager, so he kind of knows how these things work. If the baby is Adam’s, this means his parents spent a night together, so he’ll believe there are still feelings between the two.

Chelsea expecting Adam’s baby would undeniably lead to a Chadam reunion, and all arrows seem to be pointing in that direction. Still, Lawson seems set on Billy forgiving her, which would make this sticky situation much stickier.

At the same time, Adam may feel as if a child also indicates a “fresh start” and new chapter for him and Chelsea and may only increase his hopes that his ex-wife and co-parenting partner will come around.

But how will the two explain this all to Connor, considering they aren’t on the same page about a romantic reunion.
